About the role
Responsibilities
- Define seasonal product strategies and translate trends into creative products
- Negotiate, build, and source strategic and profitable product assortments
- Use historical data to evaluate performance and create actionable insights
- Manage client relationships through weekly status calls and product presentations
- Oversee day-to-day activities for product launches, including compliance and quality
- Negotiate buying terms with suppliers regarding price, quantity, and delivery
- Collaborate with design teams on tech packs, lab dips, and graphic development
- Manage product status tracking and SKU creation for online stores
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of retail buying, product development, merchandising, or planning experience
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically Excel
- Experience implementing merchandise strategies and analyzing consumer data
- Strong communication and cross-functional influence skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle experience
- Experience working with UK and European suppliers
- Proficiency in French, German, or another European language
