Merchandiser

Responsibilities

• Develop, source, and curate compelling and profitable product assortments for clients
• Negotiate and develop strategic supplier relationships
• Define seasonal product strategies by identifying future opportunities and trends
• Translate current trends into creative products applicable to client business types
• Use historical and current data to evaluate performance and inform line architecture
• Run weekly merchandise status calls with clients and internal WIP meetings
• Oversee the execution of product launches and manage compliance, quality, and operational metrics
• Negotiate buying terms with suppliers including price, quantity, and delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of retail buying, product development, merchandising, or planning experience
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience initiating and implementing merchandise strategies
• Ability to analyze consumer data and identify product trends
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail and customer service experience
• Experience with Smartsheet
• Experience with PLM or Oracle
