Merchandise Planner

Responsibilities

• Partner with merchandisers and management to develop departmental plans that meet sales, inventory, and margin targets
• Conduct in-depth inventory need analyses and manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to create balanced assortment plans aligned with financial goals and product vision
• Manage markdowns and product lifecycles at the style and color level
• Provide strategic roadmaps for promotions through impact analysis to maximize results
• Support marketing, e-commerce, and retail operations teams with quantitative analyses to drive actionable insights
• Refine planning processes, templates, and tools to ensure operational fluidity

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar merchandise planning role
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of retail math and financial forecasting
• Fluency in both French and English to communicate complex information effectively
• Proactive and collaborative mindset suitable for a fast-paced environment
