Merchandise Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute buying strategies to curate trend-driven product assortments
• Conduct market research and trend forecasting to ensure a competitive product mix
• Lead pricing negotiations with suppliers to optimize margins and cost structures
• Manage weekly sales performance, open-to-buy budgets, and inventory levels
• Partner with production, replenishment, planning, and creative teams for cohesive launches
• Mentor a team of buyers in vendor relations and negotiation skills
• Strategically scout and evaluate new vendors to support business needs
• Review and approve extension requests, prices, colors, and fabric confirmations

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in apparel buying, ideally in eCommerce
• 2+ years of experience managing a team of buyers
• Strong understanding of current and emerging fashion trends
• Proven experience in vendor negotiation regarding quality, cost, and delivery
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Production, Design, or related field
