Merchandise Assistant

Responsibilities

• Manage PO tracking by working with vendors, buying operations, and transportation teams to monitor shipments through to warehouse receipt.
• Own web and creative turnover by managing photo sample requests and communicating potential delays.
• Maintain full ownership of sample management, including requesting, tracking, and organizing samples for PR, web photography, and meetings.
• Act as the primary contact for vendor communication, including tracking design packs, updating WIP reports, and providing sample feedback.
• Lead internal weekly production meetings to provide updates on sampling progress and vendor inquiries.
• Conduct weekly web audits to ensure styles and colors are correctly activated and report on customer reviews or errors.
• Support the buying team with ad hoc reporting and projects as needed.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in an office or retail environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with professional email etiquette.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to follow projects through to completion.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and able to learn multiple computer systems quickly.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to remain flexible as team priorities shift.
