MEP Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for MEP works including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate estimation.
• Assist in tendering processes, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders while highlighting budget deviations.
• Prepare billing, RA bills, final accounts, and comprehensive cost reports.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, site execution, and project teams.
• Evaluate subcontractor bills and certify payments.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives to ensure project efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience specifically as an MEP Quantity Surveyor.
• Proven experience working on commercial, residential, and fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, specifications, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, quantity take-off tools, and estimation software.
• Solid understanding of contracts, billing, and cost control practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Experience working on fast-paced, high-pressure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
