MEP Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full MEP scope on a large-scale data centre project in Hertfordshire, North London
• Oversee planning, coordination, installation, and delivery of all mechanical, electrical, and public health systems
• Serve as the primary MEP point of contact for the Owner’s Representative
• Manage MEP subcontractors and specialist vendors to ensure performance and quality
• Ensure full integration of MEP works with CSA, commissioning, and project controls teams
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and track progress against milestones
• Work with commercial teams to monitor budgets, control costs, and manage variations
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical challenges proactively
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Support testing, commissioning, and final system handover processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments
• 5 years of experience with mechanical infrastructure systems (HVAC, cooling, water systems)
• 5 years of experience with data center operations and working with mechanical contractors
• 5 years of experience with electro/mechanical assembly and mechanical testing procedures
