About the role
Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate MEP designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, hotel brand standards, and local regulations
- Manage and monitor the installation and integration of all MEP systems throughout design and construction
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, operators, and stakeholders to ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, ELV, BMS, and specialty systems
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing MEP engineering, design, and construction for hospitality developments
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering
- Experience with HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems
- Experience with commissioning and hotel operational readiness
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, and BIM coordination processes
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Hotel Brand Standards
- PMI certification
- LEED, WELL, EDGE, or sustainable hospitality certification
