About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and supply chain for large mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) owner-furnished equipment
- Administer contracts, review terms and conditions, and ensure compliance
- Prepare and maintain project procurement plans and manage RFx processes
- Conduct price analysis, cost modeling, and benchmarking
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and track delivery schedules
- Coordinate with construction and design teams for BoM and routing validation
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Extensive experience in MEP procurement or supply chain management, preferably in data center environments
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory management systems, preferably SAP
- Required programming experience in SQL, VBA, or Python
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven people management experience
- Ability to work on-site and travel as needed for inspections
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience implementing lean practices in supply chain operations
