MEP Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review internal plumbing, sanitary, and irrigation designs to ensure compatibility with external utility networks
• Assess internal LV electrical distribution, earthing, and lightning protection designs for ADDC compliance
• Verify fire fighting system designs and connections to external potable water supplies
• Coordinate with design consultants to resolve interface issues between external utility networks and building-level MEP systems
• Support the preparation and tracking of MEP-related packages for Abu Dhabi authorities including ADDC, ADSSC, and Civil Defence
• Assist in reviewing MEP shop drawings, equipment data sheets, and contractor submittals during construction
• Participate in site visits to verify MEP installations and utility connections

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related MEP discipline
• Minimum 4 years of MEP engineering experience in the UAE
• Proven experience reviewing plumbing, LV electrical, and fire fighting system designs in residential or mixed-use developments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Valid UAE driving licence
• Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership in a recognized professional body such as IMechE, IET, or CIBSE
• Experience with BIM/Revit MEP coordination and clash detection tools
• Prior exposure to Yas Island projects or Abu Dhabi authority submission processes
• Knowledge of ADDC, ADSSC, and Civil Defence standards
