MEP Mechanical Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems including HVAC, Chilled Water, Ventilation, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and verify compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor installation quality, identify non-conforming works, and raise NCRs while monitoring corrective actions.
• Witness pressure testing, flushing, balancing, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery.
• Support the review of material submittals and mechanical technical documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of UAE experience in mechanical inspection and supervision.
• Mandatory experience working on projects regulated by Dubai Municipality (DM) and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD).
• Proven experience in hospitality, residential high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting Systems.
• Ability to review mechanical drawings and specifications effectively.
