About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) and Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) contracts
  • Provide technical leadership as the subject matter expert for assigned MEP equipment and integrated systems
  • Oversee design development to ensure equipment compliance with project specifications
  • Review material specifications and procurement documentation for alignment with design intent
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure on-time equipment delivery using schedules and trackers
  • Manage equipment logistics milestones including procurement, production, shipping, and warehousing
  • Oversee shipment readiness and resolve nonconforming materials prior to dispatch
  • Manage and develop teams supporting equipment delivery programs
  • Lead coordination meetings with vendors, integrators, and onsite project teams
  • Identify and communicate risks related to supply, cost, schedule, and quality
  • Oversee supplier performance including scorecards and dispute resolution
  • Utilize KPIs and analytics to evaluate supply chain performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline with 6+ years of experience, OR High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in MEP equipment purchasing or delivery management
  • Extensive experience managing mechanical and/or electrical equipment procurement for complex construction projects
  • Experience supporting mission-critical facilities such as data centers
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong technical aptitude for evaluating complex MEP systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Willingness to travel to vendor or integrator facilities for testing, inspections, or commissioning
