MEP Estimator

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates and cost plans across multiple project stages
• Analyse mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, specifications and technical documentation
• Support key tendering activities, including preparation of pre-tender estimates and bid evaluations
• Review contractor and supplier quotations for MEP packages
• Support procurement and commercial evaluation activities related to MEP works
• Contribute to value engineering and cost optimisation exercises
• Maintain estimating databases, pricing information and historical cost data
• Identify project risks, assumptions and exclusions within estimates
• Collaborate with Project Management, Cost Management and technical teams to support project delivery
• Prepare clear estimating reports and supporting documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Previous experience in MEP estimating within the construction or real estate sector
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction costs and estimating methodologies
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software/tools
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Fluency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English
