MEP Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy
• Prepare and review shop drawings and material submittals for HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems
• Coordinate mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines
• Respond to RFIs and liaise with consultants for technical clarifications
• Support procurement by reviewing supplier quotations and technical data sheets
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and authority requirements
• Assist site teams with technical guidance and documentation
• Track submissions and maintain organized project records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with a general contracting company in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and technical submittals
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software
• Strong coordination and communication skills
