MEP Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and review shop drawings and material submittals for HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems
• Coordinate mechanical drawings with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines to prevent clashes
• Respond to RFIs and liaise with consultants for technical clarifications and approvals
• Support procurement by reviewing supplier quotations and technical data sheets
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with UAE regulations and authority requirements
• Provide technical guidance and updated documentation to site teams
• Track submissions and maintain organized project records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience working with general contracting companies in the UAE
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems
• Hands-on experience in preparing shop drawings and technical submittals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes in the UAE
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to meet project deadlines
