About the role
Responsibilities
- Communicate with electrical and mechanical equipment vendors, design engineers, clients, and subcontractors
- Purchase electrical and mechanical equipment and coordinate submittals
- Assist with electrical and mechanical cost estimates and drawing coordination
- Support construction of large-scale mission critical facilities and office buildings
- Develop project scopes and schedules, coordinate change orders and RFIs, and manage project budgets
- Supervise subcontractors and vendors while maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or related field
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience with large mechanical and electrical systems
- Extensive experience managing data center and complex infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in managing project scopes, schedules, change orders, RFIs, and budgets
- Experience tracking and validating monthly payment applications for trade contractors
