MEP Engineer

Responsibilities

• Communicate with electrical and mechanical equipment vendors, design engineers, clients, and subcontractors
• Purchase electrical and mechanical equipment and coordinate submittals
• Assist with electrical and mechanical cost estimates and drawing coordination
• Support construction of large-scale mission critical facilities and office buildings
• Develop project scopes and schedules, coordinate change orders and RFIs, and manage project budgets
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors while maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, or related field
• 2+ years of commercial construction experience with large mechanical and electrical systems
• Extensive experience managing data center and complex infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in managing project scopes, schedules, change orders, RFIs, and budgets
• Experience tracking and validating monthly payment applications for trade contractors
