About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and update detailed MEP cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
- Conduct cost benchmarking and value engineering for HVAC, cleanroom environments, and electrical infrastructure
- Lead the full MEP procurement process from prequalification to contract award
- Prepare and manage tender documentation, BOQs, and pricing schedules
- Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC or equivalent frameworks
- Manage and evaluate variations, change orders, and claims
- Monitor MEP cost performance, budget tracking, and forecast outturn costs
- Provide cost and commercial oversight for specialized systems including UPS, BMS, and process cooling
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 8–12 years of experience in MEP cost management
- Proven experience in high-tech, semiconductor, data center, or advanced manufacturing projects
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems costing and commercial management
- Experience with contract administration and procurement strategies
- Proficient in Excel and cost management software
- Familiarity with FIDIC or similar forms of contract
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional membership such as RICS or AIQS
- Background with international consultancies or major contractors
