MEP Cost Manager - Advance Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed MEP cost plans, budgets, and forecasts for large-scale facility projects
• Conduct cost benchmarking and value engineering for critical systems including HVAC, cleanrooms, and electrical infrastructure
• Lead the full MEP procurement process, including tender documentation, BOQ preparation, and commercial evaluations
• Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC or equivalent frameworks
• Manage variations, change orders, claims, and contractor progress payments
• Monitor MEP cost performance, identify risks, and prepare regular commercial updates for stakeholders
• Provide technical cost oversight for specialized systems such as power distribution, UPS, and building management systems (BMS)

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• 8–12 years of experience in MEP cost management
• Proven experience working on high-tech, semiconductor, data center, or advanced manufacturing projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems costing and complex subcontract packages
• Proficiency in Excel and professional cost management software
• Working knowledge of FIDIC or similar international forms of contract

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional membership in a recognized body such as RICS or AIQS
• Background working with international consultancies or major contractors
