MEP Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical and electrical construction needs of mission-critical facilities
• Coordinate MEP equipment procurement, submittals, manufacturing schedules, and delivery timelines
• Manage equipment contracts, scopes, schedules, and deliverables
• Perform technical reviews of material specifications and procurement documentation
• Track equipment deliveries from manufacturing facilities to project sites
• Coordinate logistics and delivery requirements across multiple project teams
• Monitor MEP equipment procurement costs to support budget and cost control
• Implement standardized tools, processes, and reporting for equipment delivery
• Identify and escalate potential schedule, scope, cost, or logistics issues
• Maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with large MEP systems
• Experience supporting mission-critical facilities like data centers
• Proven experience coordinating scopes, schedules, RFIs, and change orders
• Experience tracking project budgets and costs
• Willingness to travel to vendor or integrator facilities for inspections and testing
