About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze electromechanical and special installations for hotel construction projects
- Verify compliance with technical specifications, hospitality brand standards, and Mexican legislation
- Monitor contractor performance and oversee day-to-day site work
- Manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and special systems
- Execute commissioning, testing, and balancing to ensure readiness for hotel operations
- Coordinate with international hotel operators and stakeholders
- Prepare and present progress reports and risk analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years of professional experience with at least 5 years as a Project Manager or MEP Construction Manager in hospitality or mixed-use developments
- Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, BMS, and hotel-specific systems
- Experience with commissioning and system integration
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and BIM platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- PMI certification
- Experience in LEED or sustainable hospitality projects
