Mentor Coach

Responsibilities

• Cultivate mutually transforming mentor/mentee relationships through coaching all members of a match team
• Develop working relationships with parents, school counselors, principals, and staff
• Conduct in-person interviews with potential Mentors and parents/guardians of potential mentees
• Plan and facilitate match parties and annual reviews
• Provide support, guidance, and insight to match team members
• Maintain accurate match information and documentation in Salesforce
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and report any signs of child abuse to appropriate authorities

Requirements

• Active involvement in a local church
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Social Work, Education, Counseling, or related fields
• 3-5 years of experience working with students and families from various backgrounds
• Ability to counsel adults from a Biblical perspective
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
