Mental Health Worker

Responsibilities

• Oversee counselor documentation in clinical client charts and assess for deficiencies
• Facilitate multi-disciplinary treatment planning and updates for assigned clients
• Conduct individual and group sessions, education, and meetings per program schedule
• Coordinate family/conjoint therapy as specified in treatment plans
• Provide daily clinical progress notes and maintain comprehensive client records
• Manage up to 25 client-facing service hours per week
• Participate in clinical team meetings, in-service training, and supervision meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a mental health related field (preferred) or up to 3 years of behavioral health experience
• Experience working in a residential or outpatient setting
• Valid driver’s license
• RADT, RAC, or SUDRC certification (must have or be able to obtain)
• Knowledge of addiction and human behavior

• Advanced skills in facilitating individual and group counseling
• Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse backgrounds
• Ability to establish a therapeutic alliance with clients
