Mental Health Therapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities
• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive treatment plans
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation compliant with insurance standards
• Participate in utilization reviews and medical necessity discussions
• Coordinate with families to ensure alignment on treatment goals
• Contribute to program development and performance improvement initiatives
• Assist in recruiting and mentoring clinical staff

Requirements

• Master’s degree in behavioral health science (Clinical Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field)
• Active Maryland license (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW-C, LGMFT, or LCMFT)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with clients aged 13–30
• Experience in detox, residential, PHP, or IOP settings
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
