Mental Health Therapist II

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management services
• Assess, monitor, and follow up with clients to meet basic needs and move toward recovery
• Assist clients with accessing food, clothing, shelter, and medical/dental care
• Help clients navigate applications for income, housing, or other benefits
• Arrange transportation or transport clients in personal vehicles to access services
• Guide clients in daily living skills including medication use, hygiene, and budgeting
• Support clients in developing social skills, vocational rehabilitation, and employment opportunities
• Offer consultation and education to families, employers, and community agencies
• Conduct initial clinical assessments and maintain all clinical documentation

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related human services field
• Valid Colorado Driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle and obtain Business Use auto insurance
• Capacity to handle emotionally charged situations and maintain professional boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of experience in mental health or human services
• LCSW, LPC, or LAC licensure
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or ASL
