Mental Health Technician/Driver

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and assist with daily clinic needs
• Observe and document patient behavior and moods
• Assist counselors in leading psychoeducational groups and therapeutic activities
• Respond to crisis situations using de-escalation techniques
• Supervise patients to ensure safety and treatment involvement
• Orient new patients to the facility and program
• Perform clerical and administrative assignments
• Accompany and transport patients as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months experience in mental health or behavioral health preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Driver's license and insurance
• Ability to pass background check and drug screenings
• Strong communication skills and empathy
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries
