About the role
Responsibilities
- Support clients’ physical and psychological safety
- Monitor and oversee clients’ self-administration of medication
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of observations
- Transport clients on outings and doctor’s appointments
- Provide one-on-one assistance to clients in crisis
- Assist clients with nutritional and dietary needs
- Assist in the admission and discharge process
- Lead or co-lead and facilitate groups as appropriate to licensure
- Perform light housekeeping and inventory duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-4 years experience working with persons with mental disabilities
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- First Aid Certificate
- Completion of health screening, TB clearance, and Criminal Record Clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
