About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead clinical support professional providing advanced direct care and crisis intervention to pediatric patients.
- Maintain a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic environment and act as a milieu leader.
- Model advanced behavioral interventions and mentor clinical staff.
- Coordinate daily shift programming and execute high-acuity 1:1 interventions.
- Facilitate advanced therapeutic groups and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment and discharge planning.
- Perform essential medical support procedures including specimen collection, EKGs, and splint placements under delegation.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field.
- 2 years of mental health work experience.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule of 36 hours (three 12-hour day shifts) including weekend and holiday rotations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of mental health experience.
- 2 years of experience in inpatient mental health, crisis, or emergency department settings.
- Experience performing EKGs.
