About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead clinical support professional providing advanced direct care and crisis intervention to pediatric patients.
  • Maintain a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic environment and act as a milieu leader.
  • Model advanced behavioral interventions and mentor clinical staff.
  • Coordinate daily shift programming and execute high-acuity 1:1 interventions.
  • Facilitate advanced therapeutic groups and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment and discharge planning.
  • Perform essential medical support procedures including specimen collection, EKGs, and splint placements under delegation.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • 2 years of mental health work experience.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule of 36 hours (three 12-hour day shifts) including weekend and holiday rotations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of mental health experience.
  • 2 years of experience in inpatient mental health, crisis, or emergency department settings.
  • Experience performing EKGs.
