Mental Health Technician III

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced direct care, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support to pediatric patients with complex psychiatric conditions.
• Serve as a milieu leader, modeling advanced behavioral interventions and mentoring staff.
• Manage a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic environment and coordinate routine safety checks.
• Execute high-acuity 1:1 interventions and facilitate advanced therapeutic groups.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment plan development and complex discharge planning.
• Perform essential medical support procedures including specimen collection, EKGs, and splint placements under delegation.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field.
• 2 years of mental health work experience.
• Ability to work part-time, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) including weekend and holiday rotations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of mental health experience.
• 2 years of experience in inpatient mental health, crisis, or emergency department settings.
• Experience performing EKGs.
