About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced direct care, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support to pediatric patients with complex psychiatric conditions.
- Serve as a milieu leader, modeling advanced behavioral interventions and mentoring staff.
- Manage a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic environment and coordinate routine safety checks.
- Execute high-acuity 1:1 interventions and facilitate advanced therapeutic groups.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment plan development and complex discharge planning.
- Perform essential medical support procedures including specimen collection, EKGs, and splint placements under delegation.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field.
- 2 years of mental health work experience.
- Ability to work part-time, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) including weekend and holiday rotations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of mental health experience.
- 2 years of experience in inpatient mental health, crisis, or emergency department settings.
- Experience performing EKGs.
