Mental Health Tech III

Responsibilities

• Serve as a lead clinical support professional providing advanced direct care and crisis intervention for pediatric patients.
• Maintain a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic milieu and lead behavioral interventions.
• Execute high-acuity 1:1 interventions and coordinate routine safety checks.
• Facilitate advanced therapeutic groups and assist in treatment plan development.
• Perform essential medical support procedures including specimen collection, EKGs, and splint placements.
• Mentor staff and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on complex discharge planning.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field.
• 2 years of mental health work experience.
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a 36-hour weekly schedule.
• Availability for weekend and holiday rotations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of mental health experience.
• 2 years of experience in inpatient mental health, crisis, or emergency department settings.
• Experience performing EKGs.
