About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead clinical support professional providing advanced direct care and crisis intervention for pediatric patients.
- Maintain a safe, trauma-informed therapeutic milieu and lead behavioral interventions.
- Execute high-acuity 1:1 interventions and coordinate routine safety checks.
- Facilitate advanced therapeutic groups and assist in treatment plan development.
- Perform essential medical support procedures including specimen collection, EKGs, and splint placements.
- Mentor staff and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on complex discharge planning.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field.
- 2 years of mental health work experience.
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on a 36-hour weekly schedule.
- Availability for weekend and holiday rotations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3+ years of mental health experience.
- 2 years of experience in inpatient mental health, crisis, or emergency department settings.
- Experience performing EKGs.
