Mental Health Specialist 2 - Respite

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with skill development for activities of daily living
• Collaborate with clients and staff to develop and achieve short term goals
• Provide interventions focused on problem-solving, crisis management, skills training, behavior modeling, optimism, and encouragement
• Assist clients with developing coping skills to include medication administration
• Support clients in accessing and utilizing community resources and services
• Administer and monitor consumer medications in accordance with agency, DMH and DPH regulations
• Maintain CPR, First Aid, MAP and other training certifications as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
• Experience working with adults with mental illness
• Valid Massachusetts drivers license
