Mental Health RN Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary mental health team
• Conduct mental state examinations, risk assessments, and crisis interventions
• Support care coordination and medication management
• Facilitate case reviews, clinical supervision, and multidisciplinary meetings
• Manage operational matters including rostering, resources, and reporting
• Support staff development, training, and professional growth

Requirements

• AHPRA-registered Nurse (General, unrestricted registration)
• 5 years of mental health RN experience including leadership experience plus a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health, OR 7 years of mental health RN experience including leadership experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience within mental health services
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, risk management, and crisis intervention
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and complex environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within correctional health, detention, forensic mental health, or AOD settings
• Experience in high-acuity healthcare environments
