Mental Health Provider

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Conduct mental health evaluations and substance use treatment
• Assess and manage suicide and homicide risk
• Perform suicide watch contacts and segregation monitoring
• Deliver evidence-based group programming and trauma-informed interventions
• Prepare accurate clinical documentation in electronic health records
• Support off-site care coordination and medical transfer summaries
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and risk management activities

Requirements

• Highest-level clinical license/certification available in the state of Maryland
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to conduct mental health evaluations and manage suicide/homicide risk
• Ability to perform physical duties in stressful or austere environments
• U.S. citizenship and five-year U.S. residency
• Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish
• Experience in clinical, counseling, or health psychology
