Mental Health Provider

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy
• Conduct suicide and homicide risk assessments and perform segregation monitoring
• Deliver culturally competent and trauma-informed care to patients
• Manage clinical documentation within electronic health records
• Coordinate with psychiatry services and support off-site referral processes
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and risk management activities
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Requirements

• Highest-level clinical license/certification available in the state of Texas (Psychologist, LCSW, or LPC)
• Ability to conduct mental health evaluations and substance use treatment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• U.S. citizenship and five-year U.S. residency
• Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and medical examination
• Physical ability to perform duties in stressful or austere environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish
