Mental Health Provider

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Conduct mental health evaluations and substance use treatment
• Assess and manage suicide and homicide risk, including suicide watch and segregation monitoring
• Deliver individual psychotherapy, group therapy, and clinical counseling
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record
• Coordinate off-site referrals and medical transfer summaries
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and risk management activities
• Support emergency response and stabilization for acute behavioral health needs

Requirements

• Highest-level clinical license/certification available in the state of Maryland (Psychologist, LCSW, or LPC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to conduct mental health evaluations and manage suicide/homicide risk
• Experience in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Ability to perform physical duties including lifting up to 30 pounds and assisting patients
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a thorough background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish
• Experience in correctional or high-security environments
