Mental Health Provider

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy
• Conduct suicide and homicide risk assessments and perform segregation monitoring
• Deliver culturally competent and trauma-informed care to patients
• Manage clinical documentation within electronic health records
• Coordinate off-site referrals and medical transfer summaries
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and risk management activities
• Support emergency response and stabilization for acute behavioral health needs

Requirements

• Highest-level clinical license/certification in the state of Maryland (Psychologist, LCSW, or LPC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to conduct mental health evaluations and substance use treatment
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds and assisting patients
• U.S. citizenship and residency in the U.S. for the last five years
• Ability to pass a thorough background investigation and medical examination

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Spanish
• Experience in correctional or high-security healthcare environments
