Mental Health Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and report changes to the medical team
• Assist with gastric tube insertion and feeding
• Utilize restraint and head hold techniques when necessary
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a relevant setting within the last 12 to 18 months
• PMVA or MAPA certificate
• Proficiency in restraint and head hold techniques
• Experience in gastric tube insertion and feeding
