About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, facilitate, and evaluate campus-wide mental health and wellbeing outreach and education programs
- Create tailored wellness programming to meet the unique needs of diverse student populations
- Deliver presentations and training to faculty and staff regarding student mental wellbeing and resource referral
- Assess community health needs and analyze population mental health data to inform programming
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using key metrics and learning objectives
- Collaborate with communications professionals to develop content for web, social media, and print channels
- Manage online resources and courses within the Canvas Learning Management System
- Perform administrative duties including managing calendars, files, and departmental communications
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- 3-4 years of related experience in health promotion, counseling, or a similar field
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
- Experience using Canvas LMS and Qualtrics
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, Nursing, or Education
- 5+ years of experience in Public Health, Counseling, or Student Affairs
- Experience in program evaluation and conducting health equity impact assessments
- Experience supervising staff, students, or volunteers
- Knowledge of student development theory and the unique challenges facing post-secondary students
