About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior mental health practitioner providing lead functions for the program
  • Conduct screenings of intakes and referrals and perform comprehensive assessments
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for the psychological and social needs of adult individuals and geriatric populations
  • Coordinate care and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Facilitate family sessions and provide caregiver support
  • Ensure completion of program-specific documentation and adhere to all clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in unit meetings, performance improvement activities, and various committees or task forces

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a mental health discipline plus at least two (2) years of post-Master's experience in the mental health field
  • OR a Doctorate Degree in a relevant field
  • Independent license to practice as required by New Jersey state laws (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCADC, or Licensed Psychologist)
  • Applicants with a degree in Social Work must hold an active New Jersey certification/licensure
