About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy for persons with Developmental Disabilities who have a co-occurring psychiatric condition
- Conduct treatment with diverse clients including children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups
- Provide collateral counseling for families
- Utilize Behavioral, CBT, Psychodynamic, Systemic, and DBT techniques
- Coordinate treatment with other team members
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Social Work, Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (LMSW, LCSW, MA, PsyD, PhD)
- Valid license (unless currently working in an Article 16 clinic)
- Experience providing psychotherapy for DSM-V diagnoses
- Strong clinical writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently under supervision
