About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide psychotherapy for persons with Developmental Disabilities who have a co-occurring psychiatric condition
  • Conduct treatment with diverse clients including children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups
  • Provide collateral counseling for families
  • Utilize Behavioral, CBT, Psychodynamic, Systemic, and DBT techniques
  • Coordinate treatment with other team members

Requirements

  • Graduate Degree in Social Work, Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (LMSW, LCSW, MA, PsyD, PhD)
  • Valid license (unless currently working in an Article 16 clinic)
  • Experience providing psychotherapy for DSM-V diagnoses
  • Strong clinical writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under supervision
