About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision and evaluation for nursing students specializing in mental health
- Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through clinical teaching
- Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback and remediation as required
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with student knowledge and skill competency
- Maintain current knowledge of agency and clinical policies, procedures, and expectations
- Serve as a professional role model for students and staff in areas of collaboration, communication, and excellence
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of nursing programs
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- 2+ years of experience within the last five years in the practice of Mental Health as a Registered Nurse (Required)
- Professional Nurse licensure in the state of practice (Required)
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of initiative and prudent judgment
