About the Company

The Long Island Rough Riders are one of the region’s premier pre-professional soccer organizations, fielding both men’s and women’s teams that compete at the highest levels of the USL pathway. Our Men’s Team competes in USL League Two, providing a proven launching point for elite collegiate and academy players pursuing professional opportunities in the USL Championship and MLS.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured weekly training program aligned with the club’s game model and development framework
• Compete in USL league fixtures, showcases, and optional tournaments
• Demonstrate commitment to training attendance, match days, and team standards
• Engage in individual development planning, feedback sessions, and player evaluations
• Represent the club with professionalism on and off the field
• Communicate effectively with coaching staff regarding availability and performance

Requirements

• Prior competitive playing experience (club, academy, or school-based)
• Strong technical ability relative to age group and position
• Positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to learn
• Good game understanding, effort, and work rate
• Commitment to a team-first environment
• Ability to meet the physical and time demands of a USL-level program
