About the role

Responsibilities

  • Advise graduate students on job search strategies, industry research, networking, and interview preparation
  • Develop program components to support individual career development processes
  • Identify, foster, and maintain relationships with potential and existing industry employers
  • Promote program offerings and student interests to industry contacts and employers
  • Prepare statistical reports and summaries based on collected data to guide operational planning
  • Provide detailed information regarding program eligibility, policies, and deadlines

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in co-op or experiential learning, including student development and employer relations
  • Proven experience facilitating engaging presentations, workshops, and group sessions
  • Professional experience in career advising and promoting career-related programs
  • Experience in data analysis and preparing comprehensive reports
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Teams, MS Bookings, PPT, MS Forms, Excel, and Word)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in a professional environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with experiential learning specifically at the graduate level
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas)
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (e.g., Orbis, Symplicity)
