Men's Basketball Assistant Coach

Responsibilities

• Instruct student-athletes during practice sessions, workouts, and athletic events.
• Prepare personalized instructional plans covering technical skills, film study, and total athlete development.
• Assist with recruiting efforts, including evaluating prospects and maintaining a recruitment database.
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress and assist with the implementation of academic programs and study halls.
• Ensure compliance with national, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
• Scout opponents and perform film breakdown for instructional purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Playing experience or student assistant experience in basketball.
• High school or 1-3 years of intercollegiate coaching experience.
• Alignment with University Christian standards, including faith, service, and lifestyle expectations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with athletes and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree.
