Memory Device and Characterization Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical data from devices and arrays to understand behavior, performance tradeoffs, and failure mechanisms
• Develop and enhance characterization methodologies and wafer-level test techniques for emerging memory technologies
• Partner with design, process, and product teams to drive device performance, reliability, and yield improvements
• Collaborate with test development teams to validate test programs and new characterization vehicles
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges to accelerate device optimization

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience in device testing and characterization
• Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics, reliability, and failure mechanisms
• Experience in electrical characterization of non-volatile memory (SOM, PCRAM, MRAM, or ReRAM)
• Ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience adopting AI tools to streamline technical work
• Proficiency in Python and data analysis platforms like JMP
• Hands-on knowledge of lab test equipment, automated probers, and ATE memory testers
