About the role
Responsibilities
- Promote the company’s Embrace philosophy for residents, families, and staff
- Implement and oversee the six unique pillars of Embrace
- Provide daily oversight of Memory Care operations in partnership with the Memory Care Director and Health and Wellness team
- Lead high-quality innovative programs, personally leading a minimum of 5-7 programs per day
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities
- Provide education, training, and hands-on support to community staff
- Monitor programs to ensure excellence and high resident/family/staff satisfaction
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, Senior Recreation Programming, or Management
- Associate’s Degree preferred in Social Work, Recreation Therapy, Psychology, or a related field
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience with innovative, person-centered programming
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Activity Director Certified
- Certified Dementia Practitioner
- Therapeutic Recreation Assistant
