Membership Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Solicit membership renewals, upgrades, and donations at the Membership Services Desk or satellite workstations
• Process membership applications, donations, and renewals accurately using various payment methods
• Greet members and visitors, providing detailed information regarding exhibitions, programming, and admission policies
• Maintain the accuracy of the membership database by inputting new applications and updating account information
• Collaborate with Front of House staff and volunteers to achieve on-site membership conversion rates
• Perform opening and closing procedures and ensure proper coding and data entry for reporting accuracy

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in membership sales and customer service
• Three years of demonstrated experience in cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing deposits
• Proficiency in Tessitura or similar fundraising/membership software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based POS systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends (full availability for Saturdays and Sundays is required)
