Member Technical Staff - Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive QA strategy across the full software development lifecycle
• Own end-to-end testing for features, from requirements review and test planning to release validation
• Develop and maintain automated test coverage for frontend, backend, API, integration, and regression workflows
• Partner with engineering, product, and design teams to identify edge cases and quality gaps early in development
• Perform hands-on manual and exploratory testing for complex or high-risk releases
• Debug, reproduce, and document complex issues across the application stack
• Define quality metrics, bug severity standards, and release readiness criteria
• Improve production stability and customer experience through better QA processes and tooling

Requirements

• Strong experience testing full-stack web applications (frontend, backend, APIs, and data flows)
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, including test planning, regression, and automation strategy
• Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript-based applications
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React
• Experience testing APIs, backend services, authentication flows, and complex user workflows
• Ability to read code, review logs, and inspect network activity using browser developer tools
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests integrate into development workflows
• Ability to operate independently and prioritize risk in a fast-paced environment
