Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Terraform to ensure repeatable provisioning.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and manage Kubernetes for scalable and resilient orchestration.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, Powershell, or Batch to streamline operational tasks.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure resources on AWS, including cost-monitoring and optimization.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize deployment processes and ensure smooth production transitions.
• Implement security best practices, configuration management (Ansible), and centralized logging/monitoring solutions.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct periodic validation tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a DevOps role with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Powershell, or Batch.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience managing Windows servers and IIS.
• Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible).
• Direct experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
• Experience with serverless computing and other cloud providers like Azure or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki.
• Experience with Rundeck and agile development methodologies.
