Member Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality member service through accurate face-to-face financial transactions
• Assist with new member account creation and account/card file maintenance
• Identify member needs and provide referrals for products including lending, investments, and electronic banking
• Maintain a cash drawer in accordance with Credit Union Cash Control Policies
• Comply with all safety, service, and financial regulations, including BSA and CFPB standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• 6+ months of customer service experience in Financial Services or Retail Delivery
• Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling physical money and transactions
• Excellent professional and courteous communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months of sales experience
• Ability to use 10-Key by touch
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and web-based transactional systems
