Member Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide quality member service through accurate and professional face-to-face transactions
• Assist with new member account creation and account/card file maintenance
• Identify member needs and provide referrals for products including lending, investments, and electronic banking
• Maintain a cash drawer following established Cash Control Policies
• Comply with all credit union policies, safety standards, and financial regulations including BSA and CFPB

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
• 6+ months of customer service experience in Financial Services or Retail Delivery
• Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling physical money and transactions
• Professional and courteous communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months of sales experience
• Ability to use 10-Key by touch
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and web-based transactional systems
